A decade-plus in, still refusing to be predictable. Unruly is the label-boss album in the literal sense: fifteen tracks built around the artists he'd raised and the peers who defined the new mainstream — Asake, Fireboy DML, Bnxn, Rema, CKay.

"Trumpet" and "New Religion" led the singles campaign. Between them sits the thesis of the elder-statesman era: less the loudest voice on every record, more the reason the record exists. Retirement talk had returned in 2022; Unruly answered the way he always had — with another project.
