Part of Era 04Reinvention

Carpe Diem

Released8 October 2020LabelYBNL Nation / EmpireProducerP.PriimeTypeAlbum · 12 tracks

The reinvention lands. Melody-forward, unhurried, and one of the most-streamed chapters of the catalog. Carpe Diem was the first fruit of the YBNL × Empire deal — twelve tracks recorded that July and released into an October defined by #EndSARS as much as by rollout calendars.

"Eru" and "Green Light" led; "Infinity" with Omah Lay became the permanent single. Guests spanned the new wave — Bella Shmurda, Bad Boy Timz, Peruzzi, Fireboy DML — with Phyno as the through-line from the street-hop years. By mid-2021 the album had crossed half a billion streams: seize the day, measured in plays.
